A few of us decided the "dream" we wanted to be good stewards of first was being responsible with God's creation. From this a few ideas had sprouted:
- During donut time, using porcelain cups
- Recycling bulletins
- Inquiring about a recycle bin for the church
- Using energy efficient light bulbs
These were some ideas we tossed around and I am happy to report that we have hosted donut time at least twice and did use any styrofoam. In addition we talked about the election back in November and a few us helped non-registered voters get registered. Currently we are going through the curriculum called "Christians and the Environment."
I will be posting summaries that our group came up with covering the chapters we discuss each week or bi-weekly. This blog exist not only to report what we are discussing at Sunday school, but also to be a portal for articulating our dreams as persons of faith so we can be good stewards of what God is placing on our hearts.
